Our team focuses on hydrological security and resilience control in megacities within the context of global climate change and extreme events, integrating artificial intelligence and big data to conduct cutting-edge research in smart hydrology and urban flood control.

Our research directions include:

1. Hydrological Effects of Climate Change and Extreme Events:

Focusing on extreme events such as heavy rainfall, typhoons, and compound floods, we reveal the mechanisms of hydrological processes and the evolution of urban flood risk under the background of climate change.

2. Urban Water System Resilience and Flood Control Security:

We construct a resilience evaluation and risk control framework, exploring the critical failure points and recovery mechanisms of urban water systems under the impact of compound extreme climate events.

3. Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Smart Hydrology:

Integrating big data and artificial intelligence technologies, we develop a new generation of smart sensing, intelligent modeling, and prediction and control methods to serve the intelligent control and sustainable development of urban flood control.

Our team recruits outstanding students from water resources engineering and related majors year-round.

Join us to explore the mysteries of heavy rainfall, typhoons, and floods under climate change, delve into the forefront of smart hydrology and resilient cities research, and empower urban flood control security with artificial intelligence.
